The musical Lion King follows the struggles of the little lion cub Simba, who before long has no choice but to accept his role of becoming the leader of the Pride Lands due to the unexpected death of his father, Mufasa. Mufasa, who is a well-loved King by the people of the territory he rules, suffers betrayal from from Scar, Simba’s uncle, which leaves Simba without a father. This forces the lion cub into to escape for years, and where his coming-of-age story and his eventual homecoming to The Pride Lands and his destined rule as King.
Based off the original 1994 film of the same title released by Disney, The Lion King musical was skillfully transformed to the theater medium by director Julie Taymor and the excellent ensemble and crew.
